ABOUT GSP AND RICK SCOTT

Rick Scott opened GREAT SCOTT P.R.ODUCTIONS in 1991 as a public relations, marketing and management firm.  GSP designs and executes full-service publicity campaigns for recording artists, actors, producers, songwriters, independent record labels, benefits, magazines, nightclubs, and a variety of other entertainment industry and sports entities, events and brands on the national, regional and local levels, including specialty markets (i.e. urban, jazz, adult pop, modern rock, teen, sports, etc.).  In 2003, GSP entered the fray of sports representation with a focus on professional road cycling.  We have worked with legendary talent, major and independent record labels, and international brands such as “American Idol,” AEG, Viagra, Cheerios, Sony, Warner Brothers, Capitol, Blue Note, Narada, Maverick, Mercury and Matador Records.

The range of media we target includes thousands of print (daily, weekly and monthly newspapers and magazines), broadcast (television and radio) and online outlets (websites and blogs), including national mainstream consumer outlets and trades such as Billboard, Radio & Records, The Hollywood Reporter, USA Today, Rolling Stone, Vibe, Entertainment Weekly, MTV, VH1, BET, CNN, E! Entertainment Television, "Today," "Oprah," “Access Hollywood,” “The Tonight Show,” ESPN, Bicycling Magazine, VeloNews, ROAD and Cycle Sport.

We’re proud that our clients typically stay with us for years over multiple projects as it is our aim to forge long-term relationships.  The way to cultivate lasting relationships is to deliver consistently.  Our clients become family and it is the norm for our clients’ representatives to hire us to work with some of their other talent and projects, which serves as a testament to their level of satisfaction.  We provide priority service to a limited number of clients at any given time in order to fully devote ourselves to each one.  When you hire GSP, you will get Rick servicing your account, not a junior account executive.  Rick is known for the enthusiasm, knowledge and positive energy he brings to each project.  As a boutique firm, we have to prove ourselves daily.  Usually we can be more effective than larger firms because we limit the number of accounts we commit to so that we can devote our hearts and souls completely to each client.  We’re creative, tenacious and thorough, and show up each day striving to make great things happen for our family of clients.
